Leaving Brooklyn

In 4 weeks we will no longer have a NYC address.  It’s been a good run but it’s time to move along.

This apartment has been really decent.

I wondered where that doormat went.

Battery tunnel view from our stoop. There’s an empty lot on the corner adjacent to our apartment that grew great tomatoes last year.  The second year of the garden we sent a sample off to be tested at Brooklyn College. The discovery that the soil is loaded with lead served to justify the desire to leave.

Will miss all the corrugated metal fences.

These were all boarded 3 years ago when we moved in. I like business as much as anyone by I sure do miss the parking.

Bye Red Hook!
